Dinerware offers multiple different payment options.
To close and pay for a Ticket:
Using list view to pay
For items like delivery drivers, this option is great. It allows a delivery driver to pay in the money from
multiple deliveries without having to do each ticket individually.
Fast Pay
Fast Pay payment is one of the cool features of Dinerware. Fast Pay allows payment to be made with a
single touch. If the amount tendered is exact, or does not require change, Fast Pay is the way to go. (For
example: with Dinerware, your bartender could ring up a beer and pay for it with just 2 touches of the
screen. One touch on the item to be sold and one touch on the Fast Pay button.)
Multiple cash drawers
Dinerware allows for multiple cash drawers so that each server may maintain their own till. When a server
logs in to start their shift, Dinerware asks if they have a cash drawer. If they select yes, and there are
multiple drawers available to the workstation, they will be asked to select a drawer.
Optional Receipt printing
Dinerware offers multiple different formats for receipt printing so that you may customize them for your use.
In the Management page click the System button
In the Edit/Set General Systems Options screen, click on the Receipts button.
This will open the Receipt Setup screen where you may customize exactly what will be printed.

Dinerware offers multiple different payment options.
To close and pay for a Ticket:
- Open the ticket and touch Pay.
- Enter the amount tendered in the upper corner of the payment screen.
- Touch the Payment Type you are using.
- For example, if you are receiving cash, touch the Cash button. A window appears asking if you want
to leave the ticket open, close the ticket, or make another payment. - Touch the Close Ticket button to complete the cash transaction.
- Options like split tickets and Shared item costs have been covered in the Order Entry and Ticket
Handling section. - Amounts owed may also be split out by fractions. Simply click the fraction needed or click 1/N to
enter your own fraction. (If $65.75 needed to be split into 4 equal amounts, just click the ¼ and
Dinerware will show that each of the 4 = $16.94.) - If cash is being tendered, select the value of the cash on the right hand side and the amount due
will be displayed. (If you received $40.00 on a $28.34 ticket, click the $20 button twice.)
- If a person pays only a portion of the tab, the following message will be displayed.
- Change due is the amount to be returned to the person who paid.
- Amount due is the remainder of the tab yet to be paid.
- If multiple payments will be made, Dinerware will not allow the ticket to be closed until the full
amount has been entered.

- Select the tickets to be paid.
- Click the Pay with Cash button.
- The total amount due for all the selected tickets will be shown in a pop up window.
- Select OK and Dinerware will cash out the tickets and close them.

single touch. If the amount tendered is exact, or does not require change, Fast Pay is the way to go. (For
example: with Dinerware, your bartender could ring up a beer and pay for it with just 2 touches of the

- Once the Fast Pay button is clicked, the sale is done and the user will see the following screen.
