Order Entry and Ticket Handling

Interactive ticket is very easy to use

No matter what the server needs to do with the ticket, they just need to touch the item or person they need to
work on and everything else works from there.

  • Click on the person to indicate they are the current selection.
  • Click on the menu item to indicate adjustments should be made.
  • Click on the table to designate a name and restaurant section.

Tickets can live infinitely

Once a ticket has been opened, it can remain open for as long as needed.  While a wait staff member may not
clock out while one of there tickets remains open, they may assign that ticket to another member of the staff,
thus leaving the ticket open.

Transferring Tickets to another Employee

You can easily transfer ownership of open tickets from one employee to another. Some businesses use this
feature to transfer tickets to a delivery person.

To transfer tickets to another employee

  • From List View, touch one or more of your open tickets.
  • Touch the Transfer To… button.

  • Touch the name of the employee you are transferring your tickets to
If another server is ending a shift and you need to take over any remaining open tickets, you can
also quickly transfer those tickets to yourself. You’ll follow the above procedure, except you’ll touch
the Transfer to Me button instead.
Person or Group Changes Tables

If a person or group moves out of your section, you can easily transfer the ticket to another member of the wait
staff using the same steps as those covered in the Transferring Tickets to Another Employee section.  

If part of a group changes tables, while others stay at their existing table, you can use the split function to
separate their portion of the bill, and can then use the Combine function  to add them to the new table.

Custom ticket names

When opening a ticket, the user will be required to define the table that the ticket belongs to.  You have the option
to set table names, but you also have the option to allow the user to set there own names for a table.
To create a custom table name:

  • When the server reaches the screen shown below, they can touch the Custom Table name button to
    open the keyboard.  
  • Simply have them enter whatever name they would like.
  • Once they have entered the name, they click OK to exit the keyboard and OK again to exit the
    Sections window.
  • The Ticket will now be displayed with the name selected.
