This is a full explanation of the receipt button within the system menu.

Receipt header line 1.
Receipt header line 2.
Receipt footer line 1.
Receipt footer line 2.
Credit card receipt text.
Put this in front of server name on receipt.
This will print the menu items on ... **
This will print the manually applied discounts on ... **
This will print the automatically applied discounts on ... **
This will print the choices that change price on ... **
This will print no-price choices on ... **

These are choices where no price change is applied.
This will suppress fully discounted items on ... **

This will allow those items that have been discounted fully to be removed from the receipt.
This function will move any item that has been automatically discounted to its own section so that it can be clearly seen.
This function will move any item that has been manually discounted to its own section so that it can be clearly seen.
This will print special requests on ... **

Note: Special requests are things that an employee might have manually typed into the system so the cooks could see.
Print ticket void slips.

Note: This is important if your bar and/or kitchen makes product, as this will tell them if the order is canceled or if something fraudulent is happening.
Print void slips on local printer when items or tickets are voided.
Print barcode on guest check.

Note: To be used with systems that have a barcode scanner.
Suppress postauth receipts.
Print a receipt for each payment received.

Note: Multiple payments are allowed and even encouraged with Dinerware.
Prompt for a receipt. This causes a new box to be available in the payment screen. When an employee rings in a payment, this window will prompt the employee to see if they would like to have a receipt printed or not.

Note: Only use this function if your in a quick service concept as it will annoy your wait and bar staff.
Print a receipt when paying with fast pay.

Note: This will only work with those jobs that allow fast pay.
Never print a receipt. When this is selected, the user will not be given the option to print a receipt. Dinerware will close the ticekt and that is it. If a customer would still like a receipt, the most recently closed ticket may be printed on demand.
Print price and quantity on a separate line.

Note: Use this option when you have long item names or a multi-character currency symbol.
Sort items on receipts by:

Item Name - Will sort the items on the receipt by item name.

When the item was ordered - Will sort items on the receipt by the order in which they were entered.
Display tip and signature lines on all guest checks.

Note: This is meant for hotel or country clubs that need these separate lines in order to assign a room or member id.
This is the ID label.

Example: Your customer would see 'Rockford VIP #' then the system would automatically fill in the ID number.
The checkboxes corrispond to whether they will display on the guest check or transaction receipts.
