This is a full explanation of the workstation button within the system menu.



When this item is checked, the remaining options will be displayed below. It indicates to Dinerware that a pole display will be in use on this machine.
The COM port for the pole display.
Idle message line #1. This will be displayed on the pole display when nothing else is occurring.

Example: Your restaurant name.
Idle message line #2. This will be displayed on the pole display when nothing else is occurring.

Example: Thank you for your business.
This will send a test message to the pole display to test if it is working.
When this item is checked, the remaining options will be displayed below. It indicates to Dinerware that an electronic scale will be in use on this machine.
The COM port for the electronic scale.
This will send a test query to the electronic scale to see if it is working.
When this item is checked, the remaining buttons will be displayed below. It indicates to Dinerware that a coin dispenser will be in use on this machine.
The COM port for the coin dispenser.
This will send a test message to the coin dispenser and have it dispense a random amount of change to verify it is working.
When this item is checked, the remaining options will be displayed below. It indicates to Dinerware that a contactless credit card reader is in use on this machine.
The COM port for the contactless credit card reader.
This is for the workstations serial number. This is to enable an IT department to easily look up a serial number remotely.
