New/Edit Button in Sections Screen Walk-Through for 2.x

This is a full explanation of the edit section button in the sections screen.



This is the name of the section of your restaurant.

Example: Bar.
This checkbox allows the user to activate or deactivate this section from appearing in the Sections window from the Order Entry Screen.
This allows you to quick set this section by assigning it based off default values for tables.
This allows you to quick set this section by assigning it based off default values for delivery.
This allows you to quick set this section by assigning it based off default values for carry-out.
Allow custom table names - Gives employee the option of manually enterting a table name in this section.

Require a custom table name - Forces the employee to set a manual table name in this section.

Never allow a custom table name - Remove the option for a custom table name.
Allow a customer to be selected - Gives the employee the option of selecting a customer to assign to the table while in this section.

Require a customer to be selected - Forces the employee to assign a customer to a table while in this section.

Never allow a custom table name - Remove the option for selecting a customer while in this section.
Offer to combine tickets if the same name is used - Will give you the option to combine two tickets if the same name is assigned to it.

Always rename tickets if the name is in use - Will automatically assign ':<#>' to the end of the table name.
This section will print red on kitchen slips.
This will tell Dinerware that this section has an expected time.

When checked, two more options will popup.

The first asks you how many minutes is the expected time after the last item was added.

And a checkbox giving you the option to update times when new items are added.
This will require the employee to designate how many people are at this table while in this section.
